SA Rugby and the Crippled Crows will be hosting an Australian Masters Games Rugby Union competition in 2011!
The competition will take place on Saturday 8 - Sunday 9 October at North Torrens RUFC, Dry Creek Reserve, Cnr Churchill Rd and Flame Ave, Dry Creek (click here for a map).
Competition Format
Age Categories: 35-45, 46+
Minimum age requirements: 35 - All competitors must have reached this minimum age by the start of the Games. Other than for the minimum age, a participant's age as at 31 December 2011 will be used for determining age grouping, unless otherwise stated.
Match Format: Games will be 15 a-side. Rugby Union teams shall nominate a maximum of 7 replacements/substitutes.
Match Length: 35 - 45: A match consists of 2 x 20 min halves, with a 5 min half time break.
46+: A match consists of 2 x 15 min halves, with a 7 min half time break.
There will be no lost time or extra time. Match Organisers may vary the duration of the match depending on number of entries.
Competition will be conducted in accordance with the Laws of the Game.
Every competitor must be currently registered online with the ARU MyRugbyAdmin database or be prepared to sign an ARU registration form.
Competition Format: Final competition formats will be determined following the close of registration.
