The last game of the South Australian Golden Oldies Rugby programme was a great success. The game was hosted by the Port Adelaide Rugby club and 39 players and 2 referees (Peter Brown & Jim Tapara) took to the field.
A large crowd was also in attendance no doubt due to the presence of Wallaby great Mark Ella who was in Adelaide as part of the World Golden Oldies Rugby road show promoting the next festival in Sydney in 2010.
Anyone interested in attending the World Golden Oldies Rugby Festival next year should contact one of the coordinators below.
The coordinators would like to thank the six clubs which hosted Golden Oldies matches this year.
