Changes to SA Rugby’s Communications

As communicated to Clubs earlier this year at the Rugby Conference Road Shows, SA Rugby is undergoing changes to its method of communication with the Rugby community.

Given the recent success of the Lineout e-News, which is sent to over 2000 subscribers on a monthly basis, the SA Rugby Bulletin will cease as of Monday 11 July 2011.

The content you would usually find in the Bulletin will instead be uploaded to the SA Rugby website on a weekly basis. For a period of time, a weekly update called “Latest News on sarugby.com.au” will be emailed to existing Bulletin recipients to alert them of the latest news and information that has been uploaded to our website.

Similarly, at the end of the Season, the Coaching & Officiating newsletter will also cease, with all of this information also available on our website. Recipients will be notified of this change closer to the end of the Season. We will ensure that all content currently included in this newsletter, including Referee Appointments, is uploaded to the SA Rugby website in a timely manner. The “Latest News on sarugby.com.au” email alert will be sent each week to the recipients of the Coaching & Officiating newsletter, as it will for Bulletin recipients.

With more information now available and easy to find online, we hope that the Rugby community will use www.sarugby.com.u as their first point of call for the latest SA Rugby news, results and events, state representation information, Rugby resources and key dates. SA Rugby aims to make this transition as simple as possible for all subscribers by ensuring the website is up to date with the latest news, information and referee appointments which will be easy to find from the homepage.
