Aimee Irvine's influence at Southern Suburbs is extensive. From administrative roles like Committee Member and Member Protection Officer to more hands-on positions like Coach/Manager and Canteen/Bar/Kitchen worker, Aimee seems to wear many hats with grace and enthusiasm. Her efforts not only contribute to the smooth functioning of the club but also create a welcoming atmosphere for new families.

"She drops her paid work at the drop of a hat so she can do rugby stuff. When others don't put up their hand, so goes about getting those jobs completed and no-one knows it's her." comments her employer, Tyrone TePaiho.

Aimee's dedication to self-improvement and her willingness to take on new challenges such as transitioning from being a player and manager of the women's team to working with the under 6/7s shows her commitment to personal growth and to nurturing the next generation of players. Pursuing the Foundation Course accreditation shows her desire to develop her skills and knowledge.

On home game days, Aimee is one of the first to arrive, making sure the BBQ is up and running by 8am so that families have bacon and egg sandwiches ready for when the first kick off takes place.

Through her various roles and responsibilities, Aimee has undoubtedly touched the lives of countless individuals within the club, leaving a lasting legacy of dedication, leadership, and camaraderie. Her immense contribution over more than two decades is a testament to her unwavering commitment to Southern Suburbs and the sport as a whole.
